WHITEWATER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point track and field team wrapped up the indoor season with its only away event of the year at the WIAC Last Chance meet.  No team scores were recorded although all eight WIAC teams were there.
 
Results
 
Jared Schrang (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) won the 60-meter hurdles for the Pointers with a time of 8.15.
 
Mike Ayensu-Mensah (Appleton, Wis./North) won the high jump clearing 2.03 meters.
 
UWSP's distance medley relay squad of Josh Jumbeck, Evan Torgerson (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest), Ashton Arnold (Kiel, Wis./Kiel) and Bret Hilliard (Morton. Ill./Morton) finished in the runner-up spot with a time of 10:28.93. It was the first time this season UWSP competed in the DMR.
 
Braedon Gilles (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) took second place in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.56.
 
On the women's side, Sylviann Momont (Auburndale, Wis./Auburndale) posted a pair of third-place finishes.  She posted a time of 8.84 in the 60-meter hurdles and cleared 1.67 meters in the high jump.
 
Leyna Herzog (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) finished third in the 200-meter dash clocking in at 25.75.  Mackenzie Johnson (Stevens Point, Wis./Cumberland) took third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.39.
 
Paige Allemann (Waumandee,Wis./Cochrane-Fountain City) crossed the finish line at 5:11.48 in the mile run, good for third.
 
Adrienne Lewis (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) pocketed a third-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 5.65 meters.
 
The Pointers begin the outdoor season on March 27 at the Carroll Invite. The meet begins at 10:00 a.m.
