Our camps serve athletes of all ages who are eager to learn, grow, and develop as volleyball players and teammates. We pride ourselves on providing a personalized camp experience where each camper feels supported and confident in their development. Campers have the opportunity to train alongside our coaching staff and current student-athletes, receiving individualized instruction and feedback. With a 1:8 coach-to-camper ratio, our focus is on quality instruction, personal attention, and meaningful growth. Our goal is to create a fun, educational, and rewarding experience. We invite you to train and learn like a Pointers Volleyball player!

What: This camp offers comprehensive skill development for volleyball players of all levels. Proper technique will be taught and demonstrated by our coaching staff, with campers reinforcing skills through game-like drills and competitions. Campers will be placed in groups based on age and experience.. Areas of focus include passing, ball control, serving, setting, attacking, and blocking.
Level: beginner recommended

Summer Girls Pointer Pups

What: This camp focuses on complete volleyball skill development in a fun, competitive environment. Coaches will teach and demonstrate proper technique, allowing campers to improve through game-like drills and competitions. Campers will be grouped according to age and skill level, making this camp a great fit for both beginners and experienced players. Areas of focus include passing, ball control, serving, setting, hitting, and blocking. Meals are
not included, but campers may bring snacks.

Pointers All-Skills Academy
When: July 7-9
th (3 day camp)
Time: Check in 1:30pm. Camp 2-6:30pm
Schedule: Session I 2-4pm. Dinner/Break 4-5pm. Session II 5-6:30pm

th grade girls only
Cost: $240 *this includes a camp t-shirt
What: This camp provides comprehensive skill development across all aspects of volleyball, including ball control, passing, serving, defense, blocking, setting, and hitting. Campers will choose a position to focus on during position-specific training sessions while gaining experience in all skills. Training includes high-repetition drills, daily competitive play, and game-like formats. Campers will also participate in classroom sessions with targeted lessons and visual instruction. Athletes of all ability levels are welcome.
Level: beginner-experienced recommended
Meals: Dinner is
not included at this camp, but campers are welcome to bring their own dinner/snacks.
First Contact Camp
When: July 9

Cost: $125 this includes a camp t-shirt
What: Serving and passing play a major role in today’s volleyball game. Consistent, aggressive serving creates scoring opportunities, while quality passing sets the tone for the entire rally. Coaches are constantly seeking versatile, all-around players with strong ball control. This camp focuses on building and refining serving and passing skills for beginners through advanced athletes. Players of all experience levels who are eager to improve are encouraged to attend, with training groups divided by age and skill level.
Level: intermediate-experienced recommended
Positions Clinic
When: July 15

Time: Check in 9:30am Camp 10-3:30pm
Grades: 7
th-12
th grade girls only
Cost: $160 *this includes a camp t-shirt
What: Take your game to the next level in this one-day position-specific clinic! Setters will train setting techniques, tactical strategies, and leadership skills to excel on the court. Hitters will sharpen attacking, passing, and blocking skills while practicing shots and attacking tendencies to boost hitting performance. Defensive specialists and liberos will focus on serve receive, defensive positioning, and ball control, with a focus on reading the play. Classroom sessions are included to deepen understanding and enhance skill development.
Level: Intermediate-experienced recommended
Meals: Lunch is
not included, but campers are welcome to bring their own lunch.
Hitter-Setter-Libero Camp
When: July 17-19

What: We are excited to offer a three-day camp focused on helping players grow and excel in their specific positions! We believe the best athletes are “generalized specialists”—players who are strong in all skills while excelling in one or two key areas. This camp is designed for players of all ability levels, with personalized attention provided to each camper. Setters will work on setting techniques, tactical decision-making, and leadership skills essential for success. Hitters will develop attacking, passing, and blocking skills, while refining shots and attacking tendencies to improve hitting efficiency. Defensive specialists and liberos will focus on serve receive, defense, and ball control, with an emphasis on the premier skill of reading the game.
Level: Intermediate-experienced recommended
Housing + Meals: All meals are included in this camp for both commuters and overnighters. Campers have the choice of staying in the dorms on campus or commuting each day to this camp.
What to bring: towel, sheets, blanket, pillow, shower supplies. Dorm is air-conditioned. Dorms do not have a fridge.
Elite/Prospect Camp
When: July 24-25

What: Want to experience what it’s like to play collegiate volleyball at UWSP? Our Elite Camp is designed to develop all volleyball skills in a competitive environment, culminating in tournament play on the final day. High-intensity drills will enhance volleyball IQ and court awareness, while sessions focus on game-related situations. Campers will participate in position-specific training and classroom sessions covering the general recruiting process and insight into the Pointers volleyball program. Additional highlights include a Q&A with UWSP volleyball players, a “Queen of the Court” competition, tournaments, and specialized positional work.
Level: experienced recommended
Housing + Meals: All meals are included in this camp for both commuters and overnighters. Campers have the choice of staying in the dorms on campus or commuting each day to this camp.

Meet the Coaches:
Head Coach Lyndsay Klapper
Klapper enters her 9
th season at UWSP in 2025. She holds a career record of 157-80 (.662) Klapper has guided her team to 5 NCAA Tournament appearances in her time. In 2019, Kooi lead the Pointers to the NCAA Regional Final and an overall record of 28-9. Kooi has coaches numerous All-Americans, All-Region Players, and All-Conference players. A native of Minooka, IL Klapper went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in physical education from Quincy University. Kooi was also a four-year starter for the Hawks of Quincy University in Quincy, IL.
Assistant Coach Molly Stock
Stock enters her 4
th season at UWSP in 2025. She has helped guide the Pointers to a 2
nd round NCAA appearance in 2024 and in 2023. Stock also coaches the men’s volleyball program at UWSP. Stock also helped guide the men’s volleyball program at Benedictine University to a NCAA Championship match in 2021. A native of Naperville, IL Stock earned her bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science from Benedictine. Stock was also a four-year starter for the Eagles of Benedictine University in Lisle, IL
