LA CROSSE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point track and field teams completed the three-day Esten Challenge on Saturday. The UWSP men and women both took sixth-place team finishes.
 
Results: Men | Women
 
Individually, Jared Schrang (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) was the lone event winner for the Pointers. He won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.49.
 
Blake Orr (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) had three top-5 finishes in the field events. He took second in the discus throw, third in the hammer throw and fifth in the shot put.
 
Ian Lillquist (New Prague, Minn./New Prague) finished third in the triple jump landing at 14.17 meters.  UWSP's relay team of Tyler Santi (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper), Schrang, Brad Brewer (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) and Evan Torgerson (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) took fourth in the 4x400.
 
On the women's side, Leyna Herzog (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) and Paige Allemann (Waumandee, Wis./Cochrane-Fountain City) took third in the 200-meter dash and 3000-meter steeplechase, respectively.
 
Savana Burg (Cedar Grove, Wis./Sheboygan Falls), Esme Reinders (Eau Claire, Wis./Regis), Ashley Bartelt (Hartford, Wis./Hartford Union) and Anetha Vogele (Necedah, Wis./Necedah) placed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay.
 
Reinders, Brooke Wellhausen (Williams Bay, Wis./Big Foot) and Amay Rushing (Omaha, Neb./Central) had fifth-place finishes in the 400-meter dash, 1500-meter run and the hammer throw, respectively.
 
The Pointers will have one final tune-up for the WIAC Championships next Saturday (April 30) at the St. Norbert Invite.
