COACH'S TAKE"Fridays meet at Augustana was a good next step for us" said head coach
Brett Witt. "Both our men's and women's teams learned a lot about where we are currently at and what we need to work on to run even better in meets of this size and competition level later in the season. Individually speaking, our number one runners Neil and Holly both ran real well within a strong field. We had a number of career best times from people other than our number-one finishers as well like Luke, Ryan,
Justin Kreuser (Kenosha, WI/Bradford), Derks, Emily, and Jenna. This was also a great eye-opening race for all our freshmen to really see what collegiate cross country is like and what they need to be preparing themselves for in the future."
UP NEXTThe Pointers head to South Bend, Ind. for the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday, Oct. 2.
