INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The UW-Stevens Point men's cross country team has been selected for the second season in a row to compete in the Division III NCAA Championships in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The Pointers were one of 22 at-large teams added to the field of 32 teams that will compete in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Saturday (Nov. 22).
UWSP finished second in yesterday's NCAA North Regional in Eau Claire, Wis. Mateo Alvarado-Venegas and
Logan Murphy (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) finished in the top 20.
Mike Brown (Butternut, Wis./Butternut),
Martin Kimmel (Deerfield, Wis./Deerfield) and
Malachi Kurth (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) finished in the top 30 to round out the Pointers' team scoring.
The Pointers will race in the NCAA Championships at 10:00 a.m. ET at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
