STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Two individuals on the UW-Stevens Point men's outdoor track and field team have earned spots in the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, as the qualifying field was announced by the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee on Sunday.

Schedule Michael Evans (Reedsville, WI/Valders) will compete in the 800-meter run, after qualifying 16th with a time of 1:51.36.
Jerry Williams (Watertown, WI/Watertown) will participate in the triple jump and is also the WIAC outdoor champion in the event. Williams qualified 14th with a distance of 14.50 meters.
For each men's individual event contested, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.
The outdoor national championships begin on Thursday, May 22 and run through Saturday, May 24 in Delaware, Ohio.
