WHITEWATER, Wis. - Justin Hemshrot (Shell Lake, WI/Shell Lake) won the pole vault as the UW-Stevens Point men's outdoor track and field team competed at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative on Saturday afternoon.

Results

Hemshrot won the individual title by clearing a height of 4.56 meters, while teammate Nick Michalske (Wausau, WI/Newman Catholic) finished third (4.41m) in the event.

Cody Riesterer (LaGrange Park, IL/Lyons Township) took third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing the event in 10:30.20.

Michael Pomaville (Dousman, WI/Mukwonago) (57.13s), Zach Yindra (Appleton, WI/Kimberly) (57.25s) and Tim Baker (/) (58.21s) finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively in the 400-meter hurdles.

The Pointers compete at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships on May 2-3 in Oshkosh.
