OSHKOSH, Wis. – Against the top-ranked teams in Division III, the UW-Stevens Point men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed Saturday at the UW-Oshkosh WIAC Quad. The Pointer men and women both posted third place finishes.

Highlights included:

Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) and Michael Evans (Reedsville, WI/Valders) took home the top two spots in the 800-meter run, finishing 1:54.31 and 1:54.73, respectively.

Alec Dix (WIld Rose, WI/Wild Rose) and Jerry Williams (Watertown, WI/Watertown) finished in the top two scoring positions in the triple jump with jumps of 13.27 meters (43'6.5") and 13.23 meters (43' 6.5").

Evan Cooper (Delafield, WI/Kettle Moraine) finished runner-up in the 5000-meter run, posting a time of 15:37.20.

Ana Breit (Wisconsin Rapids, WI/Pacelli) was the top finisher in the 3000-meter run, posting a time of 10:03.94.

Shannon Burke (Sussex, WI/Hamilton) and Nicole Hanson (Clintonville, WI/Clintonville) finished 1-2 in the women's pole vault, clearing 3.53 meters (11' 7.0") and 3.38 meters (11' 1.0"), respectively. Samantha Haas (Waupun, WI/Waupun) finished fourth.

The Pointers return home to host the Eastbay/Pointer Invite on Saturday, Feb. 22 in the Mult-Activity Center.
