PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's indoor track and field team posted a third place finish at the UW-Platteville Triangular on Saturday afternoon.

Highlights from the day included:

Matt Gerber (Tomahawk, WI/Tomahawk) posted the top finish in the 200-meter dash, finishing in a time of 22.82.

Dennis Haak (Belleville, WI/Belleville) was the top finisher in the mile run, posting a time of 4:25.33.

Jordan Richards (Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) posted the top distance in the long jump with a leap of 6.71 meters (22' 0.25"). Alec Dix (WIld Rose, WI/Wild Rose) finished second in the event with a leap of 6.58 meters (21' 7.25")

Mickey Flynn posted a runner-up finish in the shot put with a toss of 15.33 meters (50' 3.50").

The Pointers return to the track on Friday, Jan. 31 at the Thad Metzger Invite, hosted by Carthage College.
