LA CROSSE, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point junior Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) repeated as national champion in the men's 1,500-meter run at the NCAA Division III 2013 Outdoor Track & Field Championships Saturday.

Results

Sullivan led the pack with a time of 3:46.19 to give UWSP 10 points. The Pointers finished 22 out of 72 teams that scored.

This marks Sullivan's third national title overall. Sullivan set a national meet record at the NCAA Division III 2013 Indoor National Championships by finishing the one-mile run in 4:16.39.

Sullivan won his first career national title by finishing the 1,500-meter run in 3:55.38 at the Division III 2012 Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
