ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point men's outdoor track & field team collected 98 team points on Saturday to finish sixth of ten teams at the 2013 Augustana College Meet of Champions.

Highlights included:
 
Nick Geiger posted a fourth-place finish in the men's decathlon and Eric Osterdyk (Pine City, MN/Pine City) finished fifth.
 
Neil Pederson and Terry Witkowski (Wales, WI/Kettle Moraine ) finished 4-5 in the 5000-meter run, posting times of 15:26.41 and15:32.01, respectively.
 
Logan Seipel (Colfax, WI/Colfax) finished as runner-up in the steeplechase, posting a time of 9:39.8.  Reuben Frey (Palatine, IL/Palatine) posted a fourth-place finish, posting a time of 9:40.21.
 
Dennis Haak (Belleville, WI/Belleville) posted a fourth-place finish in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:00.44.
 
Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) finished as runner-up in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 1:52.39.
 
Zack Yindra finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.81.
 
Alec Dix (WIld Rose, WI/Wild Rose) posted a third-place finish in the triple jump, jumping 13.49m.
 
Justin Hermshort won the men's pole vault, clearing 4.60m. Nick Michalske (Wausau, WI/Newman Catholic) tied for fourth, clearing 4.30m.
 
The Pointers return to action April 25-27 at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
