PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's outdoor track & field teams each posted seventh place finishes on Saturday at the 2013 UW-Platteville Invitational.

Results

Highlights on the women's side:

Kelsey Laska (Roscoe, IL/Hononegah Community) finished third in the 1500-meter run, posting a time of 4:57.46

Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) posted the top time in the prelims of the 100-meter hurdles (15.08) and improved her time in the finals but finished second, posting a time of 15.07.

Kadie Flynn (Appleton, WI/North) posted a fourth place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 37.14 meters (125' 1”).

Highlights on the men's side:

Calvin VanRyzin (Appleton, WI/North) finished second in the men's 1500-meter run, posting a time of 4:03.56.

Zach Yindra (Appleton, WI/Kimberly) finished fourth in the 400-meter run, posting a time of 57.18.

The Pointers return to action April 19-20 at the Augustana Invite in Rock Island, Ill.
