Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) brought home the Pointers 11th NCAA Division III Indoor National Championship with a national record time of 4:07.03. Senior
Brian Thill (Webster, WI/Webster) also brought some hardware, earning All-American status with his sixth place finish in the heptathlon.

Sullivan entered the championships with the nation's fastest time in the mile, 4:08.76.
After a 4:16.39 run in the prelims qualified him second, Sullivan turned on the jets in the finals, setting a new national record on his way to a national title, posting a time of 4:07.03.
Thill used a first place finish in the heptathlon's shot put with a 12.22 meter (40' 1.25”) throw, and third place finishes in the high jump, long jump and pole vault to earn All-American honors.
The Distance Medley Relay team that qualified for the event during the season with a time of 10:00.38, was run by
Scott Berry (Rudolph, WI/Lincoln),
Daniel Ostrowski (Wautoma, WI/Wautoma),
Landon Luzar (Kenosha, WI/Bradford) and
Dennis Haak (Belleville, WI/Belleville), and the Pointers posted a 10
th place finish, posting a time of 10:10.68.
The Pointers open the outdoor portion of the schedule on March 30 right back in Naperville, Ill., with the North Central College First Chance Meet.
