KENOSHA, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's track and field team placed second at the Tadd Metzger Invitational Saturday while the UWSP men placed third.

Highlights from the meet:
 
Maggie Martin (Chilton, WI/Chilton) placed first in the women's weight throw with 49' 7”.
 
Lauren Dilley (Middleton, WI/Middleton) placed first in the women's 5000-meter run with a time of 18:56.72.
 
Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) finished first in the women's 55-meter dash posting a time of 7.53.
 
Kristin Mathes (Kiel, WI/Kiel) finished first in the women's 600-meter run with a time 1:40.03.
 
Ana Breit (Wisconsin Rapids, WI/Pacelli) placed first with a time of 2:19.64 in the women's 800-meter run.
 
Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) finished first in the men's 1000-meter run posting a time of 2:26.71.
 
Both the men's and women's track and field teams compete next at the Pointer Multi Meet Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1-2.
