CLAREMONT, Calif. – In the second day of competition at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships,
Brian Thill (Webster, WI/Webster) earned All-American status as he placed eighth in the decathlon, finishing with 6600 points while teammate
Nicholas Geiger (Mayville, WI/Mayville) placed 17th with a score of 6260.
Scott Berry (Rudolph, WI/Lincoln) finished 11th in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 1:52.21 while
Babatunde Awosika (Milwaukee, WI/Milwaukee School of Arts) was unable to finish in the 400-meter dash.
On the women's side, junior
Erin Kline (Casco, WI/Luxemburg-Casco) qualified for the finals in the 100 hurdles, posting a time of 14.24. Kline took second in her heat and is seeded eighth in the finals which will take place on Saturday afternoon.
Teammate
Amy Krzykowski (Junction City, WI/SPASH) finished 13th in the hammer throw with a toss of 48.41 meters.
Two Pointers will compete in the final day of the Championships on Saturday, Kline in the 100-meter hurdles and
Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) will represent the men in the 1500-meter run.
