ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point men's track & field team collected 99 team points on Saturday afternoon to finish sixth of nine teams at the Augustana College Meet of Champions.

Highlights included:

Brian Thill (Webster, WI/Webster) posted a second-place finish in the men's decathlon and Nick Geiger finished third.

Michael Moore (LaGrange, IL/Lyons Township) posted a fourth-place finish in the men's 5000-meter run with a time of 15:59.45.

Logan Seipel (Colfax, WI/Colfax) finished as the runner-up in the steeplechase, posting a time of 9:30.08.

Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) won the men's 1500-meter run, posting a time of 3:49.85. Scott  Berry finished sixth.

Ryan Wierzba (Rosholt, WI/Rosholt) and Nick Duckow finished 3-4 in the 800-meter run, posting times of 1:53.93 and 1:54.05, respectively.

Zach Yindra (Appleton, WI/Kimberly) posted a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.07.

The 4x400-meter relay team posted a fifth place finish with a time of 3:17.31.

Zachary Mixdorf (Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) finished tied for second place in the high jump, clearing 1.95 meters (6' 4.75”).

Nick Michalske (Wausau, WI/Newman Catholic) finished fourth in the pole vault, clearing 4.40 meters (14' 5.25”).

The Pointers return to action on April 26-28 at the Drake Relays in Iowa.
