Box Score PLATTEVILLE – The UW-Stevens Point men's track & field team posted a fourth place finish at the 2011 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon, collecting 103 team points.

UW-La Crosse won its 21st consecutive league title with the by the narrowest margin in league history, edging out UW-Oshkosh by one point. UW-Whitewater finished third.
Individually, Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) won the conference championship in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 1:53.19 in the finals.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Tom Wenzler (Delafield/Kettle Moraine), Babatunde Awosika (Milwaukee, WI /Mil. School of Arts), David Litsheim (Appleton/East) and Josh Schwinn (Howards Grove/Howards Grove) also won a league title with their time of 3:15.19.
Josh Schwinn (Howards Grove/Howards Grove) was UWSP's nominee to the Larry Zirgibel All-Sportsmanship Team.
