DES MOINES, Iowa - The men's 4x800-meter relay team of David Litsheim (Appleton), Greg Haak (Belleville), Adam Steinke (Hewitt) and Adam Lang (Sheboygan) broke a 25-year old school record in the event and finished second at the Drake Relays on Saturday, April 25.

The relay team's time of 7:31.00 is the top time in NCAA Division III this season. Oklahoma Christian, an NAIA member, won the event championship, finishing in a time of 7:30.08.

Elsewhere for the Pointers, the 1600 sprint medley team of Ernest Edmond (Southfield, MI), Patrick Leonard (Chicago, IL.), Brad Koback (Amherst) and Lang (Sheboygan) finished in fourth with a time of 3:28.47.

The Pointers return to action next weekend at the WIAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by UW-Oshkosh on May 1-2.
