University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Established in 1969, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Athletic Hall of Fame was founded with the purpose of giving lasting recognition for outstanding contributions to the athletic program of the university, to help promote more interest in the university’s athletic programs among alumni and to display before students in attendance at the university the performance of past athletes who have contributed so much to making the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point a great school.

The Hall of Fame has inducted 245 student-athletes, coaches, administrators, teams and friends of athletics since its inception.

While the Board of Directors is in charge of nominating and selecting new members, the committee does accept recommendations for nominations. A recommendation can only be provided by a non-relative and no self-recommendations will be accepted. A recommendation does not, in any way, guarantee Hall of Fame consideration.
