STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point head women's hockey coach Ann Ninnemann has announced her team's schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Pointers will play 12 home games this season.

The Pointers open the season at home with a weekend series against St. Olaf on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. UWSP opened last season with a pair of wins at St. Olaf.
 
UWSP will head to Minnesota for the next three games, a weekend series at St. Catherine on Nov. 7 and 8. A weekend home-and-home against Saint Mary's starts in Winona on Nov. 13 and back in Stevens Point on Nov. 14.
 
Conference play begins with road games at defending National Champion UW-River Falls on Nov. 20. A trip to UW-Superior on Dec. 5 follows. The calendar year wraps up with a weekend series at Concordia (Wis.) on Dec. 11 and 12.
 
The Pointers ring in the New Year with a weekend home series against Lake Forest on Jan. 2 and 3. A midweek visit to Lawrence precedes a weekend home-and-home with Augsburg to round out non-conference play. UWSP will play the Auggies in Minnesota on Jan. 8 ahead of the teams facing off in Stevens Point on Jan. 9.
 
Three-straight road conference games – two at Beloit and one at UW-Eau Claire – lead into the longest homestand of the season.
 
UWSP will play UW-Eau Claire in a home game on Jan. 23. Weekend home series against UW-Superior on Jan. 29 and 30 and versus UW-River Falls on Feb. 5 and 6 follow. The six-game homestand closes out with a Friday (Feb. 19) matchup against Beloit.
 
The Pointers went 11-16-0 and reached the WIAC Tournament semifinals. All-conference selections Molly Pohlkamp (Baxter, Minn./Brainerd), Emily Griege (Chesterfield, Mo./Westminster Christian Academy) and Alyssa Yokom (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown) lead a large group of returners for UWSP this season.
