MADISON, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team received four All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honors, the league office announced on Tuesday (Mar. 10).
Molly Pohlkamp (Baxter, Minn./Brainerd) and
Alyssa Yokom (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown) were named to the first team while
Maddie Andrle (Blaine, Minn./Blaine) and
Emily Griege (Chesterfield, Mo./Westminster Christian Academy) received honorable mention laurels. Senior
Grace Torma (Centerville, Minn./Centennial) was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Pohlkamp repeats as a first-team selection after receiving the honor a season ago. She led the Pointers in goals (7), assists (9) and points (16). All seven of her goals came in UWSP wins, including her game-winning goal versus St. Catherine on Nov. 8. Pohlkamp had five multi-point games, including a season-best three points at Beloit on Dec. 5. Her three power-play goals led the team as did her 80 shots on goal.
Yokom picks up her first career league award. She skated in all 27 games on the blue line. Yokom scored one goal, an empty-netter in a win over UW-Superior, and was second on the team with eight assists. He posted a season-high three points on Nov. 22 in a win over UW-Superior.
Andrle notches her second-straight honorable mention nod. She played in 20 games this season. Her six goals were second on the team and she added one assist. Andrle led UWSP with three game-winning goals. She had goals in back-to-back games twice this season and tallied a season-high two goals in a win at UW-Superior on Feb. 6. She played in her 100th career game in the WIAC Tournament semifinals.
Griege collects her second league honor after earning first-team accolades last season. This year, she played in 11 games with a 5-6-0 record. Her .934 saves percentage this season was a career best. She earned the win in her season debut with 43 saves against St. Olaf. On Nov. 18, she posted a shutout with 22 saves versus Lawrence. Griege had a season-high 61 saves at UW-River Falls on Feb. 13.
Torma garners all-sportsmanship team honors after playing in 26 games this season. She scored one goal, her first career power-play tally, in a home win over Beloit on Jan. 30. She also had one assist this season in the series finale at UW-Superior on Feb. 7. Torma played in 107 games in her UWSP career and had at least one goal and one assist in all four seasons while patrolling the blue line.
The UWSP women's hockey team won 11 games this season, the fourth time in the last five seasons with double-digit wins.
