ROCK ISLAND, Ill.—The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's team had eight earn new personal-bests at the Augustana Midwest Twilight on Wednesday.
 
Results
 
The men had two field athletes earn new personal-bests, Ian Lillquist (New Prague, Minn./New Prague) and Nick Tuchscherer (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH).
 
Lillquist posted a mark of 14.89 meters to take second in the triple jump.
 
Tuchscherer took third in the long jump with a leap of 6.95 meters.
 
The women had four track and two field athletes post new personal-bests, Jordan Shamion (Iron River, Mich./West Iron County), Audrey Rabitz (Manitowoc, Wis./Lincoln), Grace Nesvacil (Ashwaubenon, Wis/Ashwaubenon), Makaela Malin (Monticello, Minn./St. Michael, Albertville), Rachel Perry (Mantorville, Minn./RAACHE) and Guadalupe Corn (Keshena, Wis./Menominee Indian).
 
Shamion took 13^th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.68.
 
Rabitz finished 31^st in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.25.
 
Nesvacil took 33^rd in the 1500-meter run with a time of 5:25.97.
 
Malin earned her new personal-best in the steeplechase finishing 14^th with a time of 11:26.87.
 
Perry posted a jump of 1.49 meters in the high jump to take 16^th.
 
Corn recorded a throw of 48.71 in the hammer throw to take sixth.
 
The UWSP men's and women's field teams are back in action tomorrow (May 15) to wrap up the final field events at the Augustana Midwest Twilight, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
