FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – Sophomore
Logan Murphy (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) paced the UWSP cross country quads at the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday as the men's team finished fourth and the women, 14th, in the 24-team field.
Results
Murphy ran a time of 26:12.3 to place seventh among the 358 runners that finished the race.
Mike Brown (Butternut, Wis./Butternut) and
Ryan Rininger (Wauconda, Ill/Wauconda) were 35th and 36th at 26:58.9 and 27:02.1.
Aidan Schleutermann (Woodstock, Ill./Woodstock) was 42nd at 27:12.5.
Dean Montour (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) rounded out the team scoring with 51st with a time of 27:18.3.
Freshman
Brooklyn Hoff (Menomonie, Wis./Menomonie) led the Pointers' women with a time of 24:39.6, good for 60th.
Natalie Johnson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) came in 88th at 25:10.9.
Judith Meister (Darlington, Wis./Darlington), Hadley Reined and
Ani Oxborough (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) completed the team scoring.
The Pointers return to the course on Oct. 5 at The Running of the Cows in Northfield, Minn. Racing begins at 12:00 p.m.
