All-WIAC Release

Berthiaume earned an All-WIAC second-team designation after her stellar season on the backline for the Pointers. She led the conference in creating caused turnovers with a league-high 27. Her 2.25 caused turnovers per game slots her tied for 68th in the country with only 12 games played. Berthiaume also scored her first career goal against Northwestern after she caused a turnover on the offensive end.

Van Dyke was tabbed with All-WIAC honorable mention honors after finishing as the Pointers' lead attack. As a freshman, she tallied a team-high 39 goals and 47 points, also adding eight assists and 25 ground balls. Van Dyke ranked fourth in the conference with a 3.25 goals per game with the sixth-highest points per game mark of 3.92. Despite being a focal part of the offense, she contributed defensively as one of the three Pointers to rack up at least 20 caused turnovers.

Leising finished the season as an All-WIAC honorable mention recipient as UWSP's primary ballhandler and midfield. As one of the top midfields in the conference, she scored 25 goals, dished out 16 assists, and scored a total of 41 points. The 1.33 assists per game mark ranked her seventh in the WIAC. The two-way Leising tallied 50 ground balls, 23 caused turnovers and 61 draw controls. Her 1.92 caused turnovers per game ranked her second in the WIAC. She was second in ground balls per game with 4.17 and third in the conference with 5.08 draw controls per game.

Griege worked her way to an All-WIAC honorable mention designation after becoming a stout force in goal. She wrapped the season with 115 saves and a .434 save percentage. She also logged a team-high in ground balls with 52 and contributed five caused turnovers. Griege's 4.33 ground balls per game was enough to top the conference's ranks as the highest per game average. She also finished third in the WIAC with a 9.58 saves per game mark and fourth in save percentage. Griege was tabbed with UWSP's first win in program history after her 60 minutes of work in goal where she held UW-Stout to six goals.

The UWSP women's lacrosse team finished sixth in the WIAC in their inaugural season with an overall record of 1-11, 1-5 in conference.
