ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The UW-Stevens Point cross country teams traveled to Illinois to compete in the 42-team and 43-team field at the Augustana Regional Rumble. The No. 35 UWSP men fell just short of another top-ten finish as they placed 11th, while the women were led by another top performance from
Rachel Krouse (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) as they finished 25th.

Logan Murphy (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) logged another impressive race as he ran to a 51st-place finish with a time of 25:29.1, shaving 19 seconds off his time at the Blugold Invitational.
Logan Lutz (Greendale, Wis./Greendale) finished right behind Murphy with a time of 25.36.3 as he placed 58th.
Aidan Schleutermann (Woodstock, Ill./Woodstock) finished just outside the top-60 with a 68th-place finish with a time of 25.41.3.
Joseph McNulty (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) registered an 89th-place finish with a time of 25.48.6.
Ryan Reed (Madison, Wis./West) placed 101st with a time of 25.55.4.

Krouse led the Pointers women with another top-10 finish as she placed sixth. She finished with a time of 21.48.1 as she shaved off 45 seconds from her season debut at the Blugold Invitational.
Gabri Gaines (Madison, Wis./Memorial) finished in 128th place with a time of 24:05.4, as she shaved off 30 seconds from her most previous time.
Natalie Johnson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) and
Hadley Reines (Marinette, Wis./Marinette) finished back-to-back at 212th and 213th place each with a time of 25:06.1. Right behind them and rounding out the Pointers scorers for the women was freshman
Judith Meister (Darlington, Wis./Darlington) who placed 219th with a time of 25:08.8.

UWSP returns to the course on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the WIAC Championships (presented by Culver's). Race time is set for 12:00 p.m.
