LANSING, Mich. – The UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team placed 31st at the NCAA Championships in a snowy Lansing, Mich., on Saturday.
Results
Brooke Wellhausen (Williams Bay,Wis./Big Foot) led the Pointers with a 150th-place finish. Her time was 23:49.0.
Katie Schaefer (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East) was UWSP's next runner across the finish line. Her time of 23:57.4 was good for 173rd.
Paige Allemann (Waumandee, Wis./Cochrane-Fountain City),
Rachel Krouse (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West),
Ani Oxborough (Muskego, Wis./Muskego),
Catie Gage (Janesville, Wis./Parker) and
Olivia Franklin (Kaneland) all ran and finished the race for the Pointers.
UWSP made its third women's appearances at the NCAA Championships in the last 25 years, and first since 2013.
