STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point baseball and softball home openers have both been rescheduled for Thursday (March 25).  Both doubleheaders will begin at 1:00 p.m.
 
UWSP baseball's home opener against Finlandia, originally scheduled for Tuesday was moved due to forecasted weather.  The teams will now face off at Zimmermann Field on Thursday at 1:00 p.m., the Pointers' first home game since April 20, 2019.  A limited number of fans will be allowed to attend Thursday's home opener, per the spring events policy announced last week.
 
The Pointers softball home opener was moved to Thursday as part of a schedule shuffle by UWSP.  Softball schedule changes for this week include:
-Added a single game at Wisconsin Lutheran today at 4:15
-Added a road doubleheader at St. Benedict on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
-Moved home games versus Mount Mary from Saturday to Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (Fan policy)
-Cancelled doubleheader at Carroll scheduled for Thursday
