COLFAX, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team placed sixth and the men's team placed thirteenth at the NCAA Midwest Regional at the Whitetail Golf Course.
Rachel Krouse (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) placed top 10 in the women's race.

Krouse was the first Pointer to cross the line in seventh place with a time of 22:23.26.
Paige Allemann (Waumandee, Wis./Cochrane-Fountain City) is the next Pointer to finish in 31st place with a time of 22:58.48. Not too far behind was
Catie Gage (Janesville, Wis./Parker) in 37th place with a time of 23:06.42. Rounding out the top five scorers for the Pointers were
Katie Schaefer (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East) and
Brooke Wellhausen (Williams Bay,Wis./Big Foot) in 46th and 89th place with times of 23:15.07 and 24:04.12. A total of 226 participants raced in the women's meet.
For the men's team,
Nolan Richey (Kimberly, Wis. /Kimberly) finished first for the Pointers in 39th place with a time of 25:31.46. Right on his tail was
Michael Kluz (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) in 45th place with a time of 25:40.36. Concluding the top five scorers was
Adam Tess (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) in 105th place with a time of 26:42.23,
Braedon Gilles (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) with a time of 26:43.96, and
Aidan Schleutermann (Woodstock, Ill. /Woodstock) with a time of 26:46.75. A total of 222 participants raced in the men's meet.
Next Saturday (Nov. 20) is the NCAA Cross Country Nationals in Louisville, Ky at 11:00 a.m. ET.
