WHITEWATER, Wis. - The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team were defeated by Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference opponent UW-Whitewater, 9-0 Wednesday, September 28 at Wangerin Courts.

UWSP (4-4, 1-2 WIAC) were unable to score a point in the nine matches played against the Warhawks (7-1, 3-0 WIAC). 

Junior Elizabeth Wilichowski made her fourth appearnace in singles and doubles play losing 6-0, 6-0 in singles (No. 6) play, but her and teammate Frances Weiss (Sussex, WI/Sussex-Hamilton) hadthe best doubles (No.3) score dropping the set 8-3.

The Pointers return home to a two match homestand on October 2 against UW-Stout and St. Norbert. The match versus UW-Stout is set to begin at 9 a.m., while UWSP and the Green Knights we begin at approximately 3 p.m.
