Frances Weiss (Sussex, WI/Sussex-Hamilton) picked up a win for the Pointers winning the first set, dropping the second, but winning the tie-breaker 11-9.

Jordan Tyjeski (Beaver Dam, WI/Beaver Dam) also won her match, defeating Naomi Amani in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.
The Pointers look to recharge for another conference matchup against UW-River Falls on Sept. 16. The match will be played at University Courts and is set for 12 p.m.
