GREEN BAY, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season, falling 9-0 to St. Norbert on Thursday evening at Green Bay Tennis Center.
Box Score St. Norbert (1-2) won each of the doubles matches 8-3 and all six singles matches in straight sets over UW-Stevens Point (2-1).

Emily Kleist (Muskego, WI/Muskego) battled Erika Chitko, who finished 29-4 last season, in a 6-2, 7-5 loss at the second spot. Freshman
Jordan Tyjeski (Beaver Dam, WI/Beaver Dam) fell 6-3, 6-3 to Anna Gosz, a 27-match winner last season, at fifth singles, while
Katelyn Asfeld (Waukesha, WI/Waukesha West) went down 6-1, 6-4 to Elizabeth Manlick at first singles.
UW-Stevens Point looks to get back in the win column with a match at Milwaukee School of Engineering (M.S.O.E.) on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m.
