STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Visiting UW-La Crosse picked up a 9-0 win over the UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) match on Saturday at University Courts.

UW-La Crosse (4-1, 2-1 WIAC) dropped just a single game in doubles and five in singles to sweep UW-Stevens Point (3-6, 0-3 WIAC). Bridget Bellissimo, Kimmy Mrozek, Jennifer Graham and Sadie Spahn were all victorious in both singles and doubles for the Eagles.
 
Frances Weiss (Sussex, WI/Sussex-Hamilton) and Kaylee Roberts (Baraboo, WI/Baraboo) won UW-Stevens Point's lone doubles game in an 8-1 setback to Samantha Fleming and Alaina Bublitz at third doubles. Weiss won three games, all in the second set, in her singles loss to Graham at the third spot.
 
UW-Stevens Point takes on Beloit and Carroll on Sunday, Oct. 4 in Milwaukee.
