LA CROSSE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision on Saturday afternoon to the Eagles of UW-La Crosse. The loss is the first of the season for the Pointers.

Molly Hendries (Menasha, WI/Menasha) won the lone set for the Pointers at No. 6 singles and lost a close third set tiebreak 12-10.
The Pointers (2-1, 0-1 WIAC) return to action on Saturday, Sept. 13 when they host the Falcons of UW-River Falls in their first action at home of the season. Action begins at 1 p.m. on the University Courts.
