RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team was knocked out of the NCHA tournament by the top-seeded Falcons of UW-River Falls as they were shutout Friday evening, 7-0.

The Falcons got on the board early, scoring less than five minutes in to take the 1-0 lead.
River Falls added to its lead late in the second period, scoring two goals in three minutes, taking a 3-0 advantage into the final period.
The third period was all Falcons as the hosts scored four goals in the period to secure the 7-0 victory, on their way to the NCHA O'Brien Cup title game.
Jana Beilke-Skoug grabbed 21 saves in the loss, while her counterpart Gillian McDonald recorded the win with 20 saves.
UWSP concludes its 2012-13 season at 12-13-3, 9-8-3 NCHA.
