Shauna Bollinger (Menomonie, WI/Menomonie) netted the overtime game-winning goal just 43 seconds into the extra frame to lift the No.7 UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team to a 4-3 victory over UW-Eau Claire Friday night at Ice Hawks Arena.

The Blugolds overcame a 3-0 deficit to tie the game with 2:57 remaining in the game, forcing the extra frame.
The Pointers took control early when
Cassandra Salmen (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater) and
Rachel Reynard (Hortonville, WI/Hortonville) tallied first period goals for UWSP. Reynard scored her second goal of the game just 2:22 into the second, giving the Pointers a 3-0 lead.
Katie Burkey put the Blugoldson the board midway through the second and two goals from Hadley Cookson, including the game-tying goal at 17:03 of the third, forced overtime.
Janna Beilke-Skoug (Madison, WI/East) finished the night with 15 saves, earning the win in net. UWEC's Paige Turner suffered the loss.
The Pointers (8-1-1, 4-1-0 WIAC) and Blugolds (1-6-2, 0-4-1 WIAC) return to the ice in Eau Claire Saturday evening. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
