ST. PETER, Minn – A late goal by the Gusties gave Gustavus Adolphus a 1-0 win over the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team Saturday afternoon.

Just one day after the two teams scored a combined 10 goals, both defenses stepped up on day two.
 
After a scoreless first two periods, the Gusties finally broke through to score the game's only goal midway through the third.
 
UWSP goaltender Hillary Drake (Mosinee, WI/Mosinee) tallied a career high 42 saves.
 
The Gusties used two goalies for the second consecutive night and combined for 17 saves on the afternoon.
 
Josie Johnson (Waunakee, WI/Waunakee) led the Pointers with four shots and Nicole Schaub (Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake) followed with three.
