STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point swimming and diving teams closed the 2012 Border Battle with some strong individual performances on both the men's and women's side, as the Pointers played host to Northern Michigan, South Dakota, Minnesota-Mankato and UW-Milwaukee.
Final Results
Highlights from the second day of action included the women's 400 medley relay placing fourth, while the men's medley relay placed second. The men's 200 medley relay finished in first place.
Individually,
Joey Clapp (Faribault, MN/) finished first in the 100-yard freestyle,
Alex Loftus (Janesville, WI/) finished first in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke.
On the women's side,
Hailey Kunavich (Pewaukee, WI/) finished fourth in the 400-yard IM and finished fifth in the 200-yard butterfly.
Colleen Baker (Rosemont, MN/) finished eighth in the 200 yard free.
The Pointers return to action on Nov. 17 in La Crosse with the La Crosse Relays.
