Mya Baselt (Sheldon, WIs./Flambeau),
Lizzy Featherstone (Oak Lawn, Ill./Oak Lawn Community),
Hannah Scherwinski (Kenosha, Wis.) and
Kayla Warpechowski (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) of the UW-Stevens Point women's swimming and diving team were recognized as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, announced Tuesday (April 7).

Baselt earned her second-straight Academic All-District recognition. The senior competed in 10 of the Pointers' meets this season. Baselt swam to a personal-best time of 26.87 in the 50-yard freestyle at the Wheaton Invitational back in December.
Featherstone picked up her first Academic All-District nod. The senior swam in 10 of the Pointers' meets this season. Featherstone won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:28.67 in the Pointers' dual with UW-Whitewater in November. She recorded a personal-best time of 1:14.62 in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Gustavus/Minnesota State Triangular in October.
Scherwinski earned her first Academic All-District recognition. The junior swam in nine of the Pointers' meets this season. Scherwinski won the 400-yard IM with a time of 5:07.54 in the Pointers' dual with UW-Whitewater in November. She made the podium at the WIAC Championships in February, placing eighth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:53.22.
Warpechowski picked up her first Academic-All District nod. The sophomore competed in nine of the Pointers' meets this season. Warpechowski won the one-meter dive with a score of 191.40 and placed fourth in the three-meter dive with a score of 173.15 in the Pointers' dual with UW-Whitewater in November. She placed eighth in the one-meter dive with a score of 363.50 to reach the podium at the WIAC Championships in February.
Student-athletes selected must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, be a sophomore and compete in 75 percent of competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet or participate in a national championship.
