STEVENS POINT – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team saw its losing streak reach four matches on Sunday morning as they fell to Beloit College 6-3 in non-conference action.

The Pointers tandem of Rachel Brown (Neenah, WI/St. Mary Central) and Taylor Weuve (Green Bay, WI/Preble) won the team's only doubles match, defeating Courtney Yates and Taylor Jones 8-3.

The pair of Brown and Weuve also collected the only singles victories of the day for the Pointers, as Brown won her No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-1 and Weuve won her No. 2 match 6-4, 6-2.

UW-Stevens Point (1-4) returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 21 in Appleton with another non-conference match, this time against the Vikings of Lawrence University.
