ST. PAUL, Minn. – UW-Stevens Point junior Garrett Suter (Madison/Oregon) and sophomore Jon Madden (Brighton, MI/Howell) have received Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) honors for their contributions during the 2009-2010 men's hockey season.

Suter received First Team All-NCHA for the first time in his career while playing in 25 games. The Madison native led the Pointers with 15 assists and added six goals tying him for the team lead with 21 points. This is Suter's second All-NCHA selection as he received Honorable Mention last season.

Madden, who scored a team high 13 goals in 24 games, was named to the All-NCHA Honorable Mention squad. He also added seven goals and his 20 points were tied for third best on the team.

UW-Stout senior forward Joel Gaulrapp was named league's Player of the Year while St. Norbert 's Tim Coughlin was named Coach of the Year.
