STEVENS POINT – Diver
Anna Nyland swept the women's one and three meter diving events on Saturday afternoon at the Point Diving Invitational and in the process qualified for the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in March.
The invite also featured divers from UW-Oshkosh.
Nyland posted a score of 400.4 in the one meter dive and a score of 415.05 in the three meter event.
The women's team captured the top three spots on both boards as
Elizabeth Schaeffer and
Ashlee Brager finished second and third in both dives.
On the men's side,
Leo Hursh took third on both the one and three meter dives.
The Pointer divers now take the holiday break off and return to action Jan. 21-22 at the Get to the Point Invite in Stevens Point.
