OSHKOSH – The UW-Stevens Point baseball team fought off an early 2-0 deficit to defeat the College of Saint Scholastica 9-3 on day three of the 2009 NCAA Division III Midwest Baseball Regional on Friday afternoon.

The Pointers will advance to play St. Thomas in another elimination game later in the day Thursday against the University of St. Thomas, who lost to St. Olaf in Thursday's first game.
