STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point baseball senior Kamden Oliver (Viroqua, Wis./Viroqua) earned a pair of all-region nods, it was announced on Tuesday (May 26). He was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings second team and the D3baseball.com third team.

Oliver picks up his first career all-region selections. Earlier this month, he earned All-WIAC first-team honors for the first time as well.
 
He led the Pointers with 11 home runs and 53 RBI this season in 40 games. He also topped the squad with 12 doubles, 23 walks, 59 hits and 104 total bases. He hit .353 on the year, second on the team.
 
This season, Oliver had hitting streaks of 16 (April 11 to May 2) and 11 (March 17 to April 5) games. He had 19 multi-hit games, including a four-hit and three-hit outing against UW-Stout with 10 RBI in those two games.  Eight times this season, Oliver had three or more RBI in a game.
 
Oliver's all-region nods mark the eight-consecutive season (no awards in 2020 due to global pandemic) that a Pointer has earned all-region accolades.
