Day One at NCAA Swimming Championships

Day One Results

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The UW-Stevens Point men's swimming and diving team is in fifth place with 38 points at the 2009 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. The women's did not have a team score on day one, as no one qualified for the finals on day one.

The highlight of the day was Chase Gross (Edina, MN), who finished with a time of 20.33 in the men's 50-yard freestyle, good for a 7th place finish. Kenyon's Zack Turk finished first in the event, posting a time of 19.93.

Action continues all week at the University of Minnesota.
