WHITEWATER, Wis.—The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Whitewater for the Midwest ELITE Invite.

Madeline Zirbel (De Pere, Wis./De Pere) took home the lone first-place finish with a mark of 1.64 meters in the high jump. Lindsey Jossie (Pulaski, Wis./Pulaski) secured a second-place finish in the mile run with a personal-best time of 5:06.74. Melanie Princl (West Bend, Wis./West) placed third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.08.
 
Ben Kempe (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH) recorded a third-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.48. Nick Tuscherer finished third with a mark of 7.03 meters in the long jump. Jack Gjovick leaped 13.55 meters to place third in the triple jump.
 
The Pointers are back in action on Saturday (Feb. 21) in Oshkosh, Wis. for the Titan Challenge.
