TEMPE, Ariz. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team was awarded All-Academic Team honors by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the organization announced recently. Additionally, eight women and six members of the men's team picked up Scholar-Athlete recognition.

The UWSP women's team was one of 165 Division III programs recognized by ITA. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
In 2025, 1,269 Division III women's student-athletes and 1,115 men's tennis student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
UWSP's individual winners on the women's side were
Allie Brosteau (Suamico, Wis./Bay Port),
Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central), Anne Langkamp, Quinlyn Mack,
Morgan Milan (Greenfield, Wis./Whitnall),
Emma Rockweiler (Reedsburg, Wis./Reedsburg Area),
Jordan Scharf (Wauwatosa, Wis./West) and
Brooklynn Steier (West De Pere, Wis./West De Pere). For the men,
Steven Benoy (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton),
Dawson Froemming (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg),
Anthony Janes (Bismarck, N.D./Legacy),
Alexander Sedlacek (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port),
Ben Temple (Rockford, Ill./Lutheran) and
Brady Wierzbicki (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) received honors.
