STEVENS POINT, Wis.—The UW-Stevens Point director of athletics,
Brad Duckworth, named
Katie Lindsley as the Pointers head women's lacrosse coach.
Lindsley served as the interim head women's lacrosse coach beginning with conference play this season.
As the interim head coach, Lindsley coached the Pointers to a 2-7 conference record, doubling their record from last season. She had two players reach career milestones:
Emily Griege (Chesterfield, Mo./Westminster Christian Academy) recorded her 300th career save, and
Courtney Leising (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) recorded her 100th career point.
Lindsley graduated with a bachelor's degree from Marian University in 2013.
