MADISON, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point men's tennis senior
Steven Benoy (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) picked up three awards from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), the league office announced on Wednesday (May 7). Benoy was bestowed All-WIAC first team singles (west division), the Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete award and WIAC All-Sportsmanship team laurels.

Benoy lands his second-straight All-WIAC singles selection and his third at UWSP following an All-NJAC nod in 2022-23. He led the Pointers in singles wins this season with 13.
He was named WIAC West Division Singles Player of the Week in consecutive weeks in March and April.
Benoy becomes the first UWSP player to earn the WIAC Scholar-Athlete award doing so with a 3.75 cumulative GPA while majoring in business management with a minor in data analytics. He earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in 2024 and has been a three-time ITA All-Academic recipient.
