STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's tennis team dropped a league match to UW-Whitewater on Friday, 7-0.
Ayden Knuth (Manitowoc, Wis./Lincoln) put up a battle at No. 5 singles, falling, 6-2, 7-5.
Jacob Stinski (Oshkosh, Wis./West) won five games at No. 4 singles.
Dawson Froemming (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg) won four games at No. 2 singles. And
Ben Temple (Rockford, Ill./Lutheran) won three games at No. 6 singles.
In double play, Froemming and
Anthony Janes (Bismarck, N.D./Legacy) dropped a 6-3 decision at No. 2.
Conner Kryscio (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) and Stinski faced the same fate at No. 3
The Pointers head to Iowa to face Luther on Saturday (April 11) beginning at 1:00 p.m.
