MADISON, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point baseball player
Tyler Soule (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) earned All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honorable mention honors, the league announced on Wednesday (May 14).
Nick Argersinger (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central) was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Soule picks up his first career league award. He played in 38 games with a start in 37. He was tied for second on the team with a .289 average. He led the team with 10 home runs 31 RBI and 30 runs scored. He posted 11 multi-hit games on the season. Over a pair of league doubleheaders against UW-Eau Claire and UW-Oshkosh, Soule hit a home run in four-straight games.
Argersinger earns all-sportsmanship team honors after starting all 40 games. He led the team with a .301. He topped the team with 156 at-bats, 47 hits and was a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen bases. He racked up 15 multi-hit games and a had hitting streaks of nine and six games. All three of Argersinger's home runs this season came against WIAC opponents.
The Pointers finished the season with a 15-25 record that included a nine-game skid to end the season. UWSP did get a four-game sweep of UW-Eau Claire.
